Darling Daisies

A warm hello to all. This card I want to share with you today was created for the "Lace Challenge" for Cheery Lynn Designs. This card has a two piece front on it where you can hide a little sentiment behind the flap. The flap is cut from the  Kaleidoscope Lace French Flair. I attached the Dancing Doily Lace along the edge. The Darling Daisies were cut and arranged along the bottom with the layers of Grass Border to ground them. With and Sympathy sentiments turned it into a nice sympathy card. The cutest tiny dragonflies from the Tiny Things with Wings set were placed here and there. A touch of glitter on their wings made them look cool. I now invite you to come join us in the challenge @ for a chance to win a $20.00 shopping spree. I would love to see your creations.

Gift Box

Glad to see you here. I am sharing with you a cute little gift box that I created for the Cheery Lynn Designs challenge " Die Cut Flowers".  This little box is cut from the  die Matchbox Large. It is so quick and easy to cut and assemble. Like 2 or 3 minutes maybe. There are three different die sets that each cut a different size of box. Just put something little inside and it will brighten up someone's day. Plus they are fun to decorate and good for any occassion. I started decorating the box by added some mesh, ribbons and beads. I then added the Large Rose and stuck the leaves from the Tea Rose Medium in behind. Two of the Add A Flourish were used for filler. I then put Alison's Ribbons around the sides of the box. A beaded corsage pin was stuck in behind. Now how easy was that! I invite you to come join the "Die Cut Flowers" challenge for your chance to win a $20.00 shopping spree @

Things with Wings

Today I am here to share my "Things with Wings" for the Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge. My blue base is the Coved Rectangle Scalloped Stackers. The  Oval Scalloped Stacker was the next layer. The third layer I used the Horizon Oval Boutique Stacker and embossed it with the Diamond and Starburst embossing plate. What beautiful  texture that one has. I added the Fanciful Flourish then layered two of the Small Exotic Butterfies . Happy and Birthday were glittered and placed. A bit of glitter make the butterflies look great too. That's it for this week. Please come join the challenge for your chance to win a $20.00 shopping spree @

All About Texture

Hello I am back with the new challenge @ Cheery Lynn Designs. It is "All About Texture" this week. It's the perfect challenge to play with my CLD embossing plates. One of my favorites is the Foliage. So I embossed the base with the Foliage embossing plate and then inked round the edges to pop it a bit. I like this effect as it kind of frames the focal point of the flower arrangement. I assembled three flowers from the Black Eyed Susan Strip and then used the leaves and stems from the Orchid die. With the Grass Border, Wheat Heads, and Tiny Fanciful Flourish  it finished it off nicely. If you haven't tried the CLD embossing plates out yet you should give them a try. They really do add nice texture to your projects. Hope you will join me in our challenge for you chance to win a $20.00 shopping spree @ Have a great week.

Hearts A Glow

Nice to see you here. The challenge at Cheery Lynn Designs this week is "Hearts A Glow". I started by placing the beautiful Sweetheart Frame and then adding a piece of decorative paper behind the center of it. I layered another heart on top with is one of the dies in the Two of Hearts set. The sentiment Cherish was layered on top. The Horizon Fishtail Banner is along the bottom with some of the small hearts from the sweetheart frame I had just used. I took the Lock and Keys set and cut them in black , then added glossy accents to them. The flowers in the corner are so quick and easy to make. They are the  Cutie Fringe II, Cuties 4 and Cuties 3. With a few Olive Branches added it was complete. I would really like to see your creations so please come join the challenge @ for some fun and your chance to win a $20.00 shopping spree. Nice to see you back. Check out our new challenge at Cheery Lynn Designs. It is "Frame It" this week. I used the French Flair Doily Stacker as my frame. I cut the music paper behind with the French Flair Classic Lg stacker. The humming bird image I tucked and popped up.  The flower arrangement was made up with the Tiny Flower Kit and Tiny Fanciful Flourish Right and Left.  The Horizon Fishtail Banners were layered and then Best Wishes added to it.   Now it is your turn to have some fun. A warm hello to you today. Cheery Lynn Designs challenge this week is "Doilies". Doilies always make such elegant cards. CLD doilies are the most beautiful and detailed doilies. The background was embossed with the Black Eyed Susans embossing plate. I started with The Emperors Swan doily popping the middle up. I then spliced and tucked the Manon's Wedding Garland doily in behind that. I also used pieces of it on the corners. The flowers are from the middle of the Manon's  Wedding doily. The Mini Fanciful Flourish and Fanciful Flourish Left were placed behind the flowers. The sentiment Love was place on the Pair of Tickets. Please come join the challenge @ for your chance to win a $20.00 shopping spree. See you next week with a new challenge.

Friendship is the Wine of Life

Today I am sharing with you another Cheery Lynn Designs challenge card. The theme this week is "Anything Goes". I started with a paper that has leaves and grapes on it.  I layered up the new Happy Halloween Twiggy Wreath and the new Wine and Grapes together. I tucked the Birdhouse w Lattice in behind that and added the Add a Flourish and Branch for filler as well as adding the Sweet Christine flowers. I printed my sentiment on the computer and then cut it out with the new Pair of Tickets. The add a flourish is so delicate that it worked well to add a little around the tickets too.  Please come and join the challenge @ for your chance to win a $20.00 shopping spree.

What's The Scoop

A Warm Welcome to all. This weeks challenge at Cheery Lynn Designs is "Hot Time in the Summer".  I thought I would get creative and make an icecream cone using the Mesh Border and the Ambergris Tiny Doily. I folder some copy paper and hand cut the shape of a cone. I then laid that pattern on the mesh border and cut it out. I cut the borders of the leftover mesh border and put around the edge of the cone to finish it off. I cut the some of the top edge off the doily off to make the scoop of icecream.  Now how cool is that. I was very pleased the way it turned out. I embossed the background with the Clocks Embossing Plate. The Swedish Spring Oval Frame I placed behind the icecream cone. The Ivy Corner Flourish  and flowers from the Flower Chain Border are in the corner. The Horizon Fishtail Banner goes along the bottom with a few of the Mini Butterflies w Angel Wing flying around. Come play for your chance to win a $20.00 shopping spree @
