Happy Fathers Day

A warm Hello to you.  Today I am sharing a Father's Day card with you.

For the base I embossed a foil paper with the Do it yourself Embossing Plate .  This is a very cool embossing plate to use on men and boy cards.

I then cut and layered the Frame Die  onto the embossed base.

The Frame Die   has these tools, nut, bolts and chain that cut out of the center of the frame. I cut the screwdriver in black and silver so I could layer the black handle part over the silver handle to give it a realistic look. I placed the Sentiment Tag 3 to print the sentiment on and layer the tools on. There is such great detail in all these die cuts which Cheery Lynn is so known for.

Thanks you for visiting my blog today and for all the comments you leave. I always enjoy hearing what you have to say. Have a crafty day my friends.

This is the card I created using the Beach Set   and the Whimsical "Life is Good".  I started with a paper with sand on it and layered most the elements from the beach set. Aren't they cool and so detailed. Then I layered the "Life is Good" sentiment in the center. I cut the flip flops, book and hand bag from the paper with the sand on it. This card really makes me want to head to the beach. Hope I have inspired you do make a few summer themed cards as they are a lot of fun to make.

Happy Mothers Day

A warm Hello to you.  I want to wish all you Mothers out there a Happy Mother's Day for tomorrow.  So here is a Mother's Day card that I am sharing with you.

I made a fancy fold card from black cardstock for my base. The back piece I covered with polka dot paper and the front layer of the base I covered with a pattern paper with dress forms on it.

I used the Mirror Die  as a background for my sentiment to be printed on. I then added the corner from the Quadrafoil Tag  under the sentiment. The Dragonfly   was layered onto the top corner.

The flower arrangement was created using the Floral Bouquet Kit Black Eyed Susan Strip  ,Judy's Blooms  and the Embellishment #1 .

Well that is it for this time. Thank You for visiting my blog and for the comments you leave. They are sop appreciated. Have a crafty day my friends.

Penny the Piggy

Hi
A warm Hello to you. For this  card I have gone country. I think Penny the Pig   is so cute so wanted it to be my focal point. But after creating this card I think the gate is as much the focal point as the pig. But they look awesome together.

For the gate I just cut strips of wood grain paper, curved the tops of the slats and layered  them onto black cardstock to create a gate. The Hinges  really finished the gate off to make it so realistic.

The Happy  and Birthday  sentiments fit along the boards perfectly.

Now isn't Penny the Pig   just too cute. I cut the pig from a pattern pink paper and inked the edges. I placed black CS behind the eyes, nose and the word Laugh.  It always makes me smile to see this pig on a card.

Thanks for visiting my blog today and for all the comments you leave. I hope I have inspired you to try creating a country card. Have a crafty day my friends.
